The Glacier Resort Group is a locally owned business with a goal of developing a limited number of quality accommodations in Glacier, Washington, less than a mile from the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. We are just 17 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area.
We are investigating the septic capacity for the building site shown below. That capacity will determine the number of allowed units. Our hope is to construct 8 three-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom units. We will be pre-selling quarter-share fractional ownerships for each unit. A quarter share means owners have 12 weeks each year (four weeks in the winter, four in the summer, two in the spring and two in the fall). Fractional ownership means buyers may sell the units, pass them to heirs, and enjoy all the rights of ownership. If they wish to include their unit in a time-share pool or rental pool, additional insurance will be required. The 12-week schedule rotates in each season so all owners will have all holidays at least once every four years. The initial schedule is set on a first-come first-ranked basis.
If 16 units are approved, 64 quarter (12 week) fractional ownership units will be available and will be pre-sold.
